Meghan redattore per British Vogue

La Duchessa del Sussex redattore ospite per la rivista britannica Vogue di settembre

Per la prima volta nella storia della rivista Vogue inglese, una duchessa entra a far parte della redazione, e nel prossimo numero di settembre la Duchessa del Sussex Meghan sarà redattore ospite.


Insieme al caporedattore di British Vogue, Edward Enninful, la duchessa Meghan ha curato il contenuto che esalta il potere della collettività, che l'hanno chiamato le “Forze per il Cambiamento”, e sulla copertina appaiono i volti di 15 donne che sono state scelte personalmente da Meghan Markle in virtù del loro impegno pubblico.

Nel numero di settembre della rivista British Vogue ci sono interviste della duchessa con alcuni volti e leader femminile come le attrici Jane Fonda, Salma Hayek, il Primo Ministro della Nuova Zelanda Jacinda Ardern, il famoso ambientalista, etologo e primatologo Dr. Jane Goodall, nonché pezzi scritti dall'attrice Jameela Jalil e dall'autore e professore Brené Brown.

La Duchessa ha affermato : "La modifica del numero di settembre di Vogue UK è stata gratificante, educativa e stimolante.  Per approfondire questo processo, lavorando in silenzio dietro le quinte per così tanti mesi, sono felice di poter condividere ciò che abbiamo creato. Un grande ringraziamento a tutti gli amici che mi hanno supportato in questa impresa, prestando il loro tempo e le loro energie per aiutare in queste pagine e sulla copertina."

For the past seven months, The Duchess has curated the content with British Vogue's Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful to create an issue that highlights the power of the collective. They have named the issue: “Forces for Change” For the cover, The Duchess chose a diverse selection of women from all walks of life, each driving impact and raising the bar for equality, kindness, justice and open mindedness. The sixteenth space on the cover, a mirror, was included so that when you hold the issue in your hands, you see yourself as part of this collective.
